Brandy Tabor, sUAS, President : leads LSI as it continues to grow and offer services across the State. She is FAA Certified as a Remote Pilot and manages the Aerial Mapping Division for LSI. She is in charge of flight planning, safety, acquisition and processing of our aerial LiDAR, mapping and photogrammetry data. Mrs. Tabor is also responsible for many aspects of the business; ensuring that the missions and goals of the company are met. She manages LSI’s Strategic and Financial Planning, Human Resources, Payroll, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, Contract Management, Certifications, and more. Mrs. Tabor is also experienced as both a Survey Technician and Instrument Operator, and embodies the servant leader role through field or office assistance during especially difficult or time-sensitive projects. As the President, she has built an emphasis on the servant leadership from Landesign’s core values, developing the company culture to serve our clients and find ways to create the best solutions for the needs of each project.


Travis S. Tabor, R.P.L.S., Vice President : has over 20 years of experience in the Surveying Profession, with many years spent specializing in Management. He has a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Management from Texas State University, an Associate of Science in Business Administration and Management from Austin Community College, and is TxDOT Pre-Certified in a number of categories. Mr. Tabor is responsible for the operations of the Surveying Division and specializes in boundary reconstruction, legal description, legal research, subdivision platting, horizontal/vertical control networks, engineering and topographic design, ALTA/NSPS Land Title, right-of-way mapping, route and construction surveys. He also has worked with the City of Austin, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and many other municipal/government related projects all over the State of Texas. He has been involved in all phases of public and private sector surveying for land development, conveyance, restoration projects, easement programs, and large transportation projects. Mr. Tabor has extensive experience managing projects for the City of Austin, TxDOT, CTRMA, Alamo RMA, LCRA, NRCS, USFWS, Georgetown ISD, and countless private development clients. Mr. Tabor is committed to client satisfaction and has led survey teams on some of the largest and most illustrious projects in the State of Texas; including the JL-MC CKT 811 Austin Energy Project and the South MoPac project in Austin. He is intricately involved in the contracting, planning, execution, quality control, and delivery of these projects. He manages staff cultivation, standards development, and is an advocate of new technologies. Mr. Tabor is actively involved in the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors on both the local and state level, serving on many committees and Past President for his local chapter. He enjoys spending time with his family and gives back to the community through coaching youth soccer and baseball in Liberty Hill.


Anna Rios, R.P.L.S., Project Manager: has over 18 years of experience in the Surveying and Engineering Profession. She obtained her Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from LeTourneau University and Associate Degree in Geomatics/Land Surveying from Austin Community College. Mrs. Rios has extensive experience in a variety of surveying projects for both public and private sectors including: land development, subdivision platting, title surveys, right-of-way mapping, construction staking, design and engineering surveying services. Her background also includes working on transportation projects for TxDOT Houston, Austin, Waco and Dallas Districts, TxDOT Strategic Projects Division, utility projects for the City of Austin, as well as area floodplain studies. Her unique background of experience can be applied to any upcoming project. Mrs. Rios currently serves as the President for the local chapter and Director on the state level for the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors. She is the Past Director for the Texas Young Surveyors and Past State Representative for the National Society of Professional Surveyors – Young Surveyors Network. She also founded the Women Surveyors Summit hosted by TSPS in 2019. Mrs. Rios serves on numerous committees, including the Advisory Committee for Austin Community College’s Geospatial Engineering Department in which she is an Adjunct Professor.


Hector Salas, Project Manager: has over 16 years of experience at Landesign, with over 23 total years in Surveying and Land Development. Mr. Salas is highly skilled in Land Development projects and has completed courses at both Victoria College and Collin County Community College. He has managed many large subdivision and commercial projects across the State. His experience includes: subdivision platting and easement documents, boundary and title surveys, NSPS/ALTA Surveys, TSPS Category 1A and TSPS Category 1B surveys, topographic and tree surveys, engineering design surveys, construction staking, right-of-way mapping, parcel sketches and more. Mr. Salas is proficient in both Civil 3D and MicroStation and is an expert at metes and bounds preparation and records research. He is also a member of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors and active within his local chapter. Mr. Salas lives life to the fullest, enjoying his family and serving at his church.


Joseph Armstrong, Senior Survey Technician & Field Operations Manager: has over 19 years of experience at Landesign and over 20 total years in the Surveying Profession. Mr. Armstrong joined the U.S. Army after graduating high school in Corpus Christi. He was awarded numerous medals and citations for his achievements and outstanding leadership while being stationed across the United States and Europe. When he transitioned to civilian life, he applied his knowledge as a Party Chief, and now as a Sr. Survey Technician and utilizes his leadership skills as Landesign’s Field Operations Manager. Mr. Armstrong organizes assignments, coordinates scheduling, and provides training for LSI field crews. His experience includes both field and office for all types of land surveying including: boundary, topographic, engineering design, land development and transportation projects. He is proficient in both Civil 3D and MicroStation. Mr. Armstrong enjoys music, concerts, movies, and spending time with his family.


Joe Manes, Survey Technician: Joe Manes, Survey Technician, began his career at Landesign as an instrument operator and is now a survey technician working towards becoming a Surveyor-in-Training. Mr. Manes obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Geographic Information Systems with a minor in Computer Science from Texas State University. He continues to further his knowledge and experience in the surveying profession each day with the support of LSI’s leadership and is proficient in both Civil 3D and Microstation. Mr. Manes enjoys playing music, backpacking, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
